      <image:title>About - Hi, I’m Courtenay McFadden</image:title>
      <image:caption>There is nothing I love more than helping and teaching clients about their bodies, how they move, and how to live a healthier, active life! I’m born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, it’s here where I grew fond of the outdoors and learned outside can be a healing place. This led me to study Exercise Science at Western Washington University (WWU), where I graduated with my Bachelors of Science. Once at WWU I started my career in the Fitness Industry teaching Group Fitness and Personal Training. My curiosity to learn more and dive deeper into human movement and the understanding of Exercise Physiology led me to pursue my Master’s in Human Movement and Performance at WWU. I completed the program earning my Masters of Science after running my own research study and defending my Thesis on “The effects of Inspiratory Muscle Training on Anaerobic Sprint Capacity in Trained Cyclists”, where I learned a ton about all those tiny muscles that are involved in breathing! After completing my education I continued my work in the Fitness industry teaching Group Fitness and Personal Training, all the while falling in love with bike racing. After spending 8 years racing bikes professionally (off-road), I retired from racing at the end of 2021 and have dedicated my focus to training and coaching clients.</image:caption>
